I don’t get the backlash here. Yes, you have a right to express your opinion, so long as you paid to see the movie. As a fan of strong female protagonists, I was a bit disappointed that Danvers’ dialogue in both CM and Endgame gave her so much less charisma than every other MCU lead. Not sure I’d agree that it’s an

Ditto, though I did go to see Solo.

LOL - no, but that might be preferable to the “donking” these poor Impalas got...

I agree, except for the Sansa/Ramsay point. He totally earned his fate (and, technically, it was his act of starving his dogs that did him in). I saw that as a act of justice, unlike some of Arya’s acts of vengeance (Frey pie). By walking away, unflinching, Sansa showed that she had been forged into someone capable of

The whole elective monarchy idea is going to fall apart the minute that Bran Stark isn’t on the Throne”

Replied above, but here’s the choral part that most people forget (because Lucas axed it for the Special Edition). It gets good right at the end.

Yes, the choral part at the end of ROTJ, during the big ewok/rebel celebration, which built up to a big vocal crescendo, cutting out the moment that the final credits and fanfare started rolling. It wasn’t quite as memorable as Duel of the Fates, but it was a great musical send-off at the end of the OT.

I confess that, not having played the KOTOR games, I’ve missed out on what I understand to be some great story/world development. Maybe they’ll choose to mine that material at some point (kind of like they did with Thrawn)

I get it, you’re butthurt that new canon != your headcanon. BUT, Clone Wars was written in collaboration with Lucas. That makes Filoni’s writing for Clone Wars and Rebels (especially those characters which span both) MORE canon than anything JJ and co. wrote.

Hot take: Ahsoka is the best new Star Wars character introduced since 1980.

What?  You heartless, uncaring animal hater!  Haven't you even considered the packs of coyotes?  They won't stand a chance!

Totally, similar thing happened to me when I went back to 2002 to try to stop myself from buying an Acura CL-S. I accidentally prevented myself from meeting my wife, my kids started fading out of my phone wallpaper, and I ended up having to DJ “Get Lucky” at a nightclub. All that because American Honda couldn’t design

True: modern automatics are superior to manuals in efficiency and performance (possibly also in reliability, but I’ve been burned by both manual and automatic tranny failures). For a “normal” car, I’ll take an auto, hands down. But for a fun car, they’re just not the same. I mean, I know that the 8-speed system in my

It’s tough these days for someone to get hold of a standard shift to learn on. But if you have a chance to try again, take it. When I was a teenager, it took me more than twice before I got the hang of it. It also took me going out with a co-worker in a company car (an old 80s Civic), and neither of us really gave a

I do think it depends on the bike. And I haven’t tried any real traffic yet on my current bike - a 70s-era UJM, but I may change my tune when I do (finding neutral on that is also a pita). I used to do a lot more commuting on a 90s Honda VFR, and I don’t recall the clutch being a problem, but then, I also went out of

It’s a bit easier to deal with a motorcycle’s clutch in traffic. I do miss driving a stick, and perhaps some day I’ll get myself into a Miata or hot hatch as a fun toy. But I doubt I’d ever go back to, say, a Boston commute with a clutch.

True, dogs did not cause mass extinctions, genocide, global warming, deforestation, etc. But, by evolving and thriving alongside us, arent they at least partially complicit? That goes double for cats. (/s)

Ok, fair response
