GM is cutting its nose. I have seen what happens to automakers infotainment systems 3 years after the sale. They stop getting updated. I don’t want to sink a massive chunk of money on betting GM (not a software company) will keep their already slow and jankie software running on the out of date hardware.

I can’t say I am surprised they axed the CLS when the better looking and performing AMG GT also exists and I always thought of the latter as the replacement for the former. Also, the AMG GT is a proper hatch which is a huge plus in my book.

And not one of them used their turn signals.
But seriously, I live in the general area, and stuff like this is happening more frequently. It’s even worse in- shudders, Maryland.

I’d like to think I’d have the presence of mind to hop the barrier instead...but honestly, who knows? Tough to predict what even yourself will do in that situation.

The parents deserve an ass-kicking for giving a 17 year old kid a car like that. As do the parents of that L.A. teen who hit a car while doing 120mph in a Lambo Urus killing the 32-year old driver. He got 4 years probation and 9 months in a “rigorous juvenile camp” for vehicular manslaughter. Affluenza is a thing. 

Hindsight and a third-person perspective makes hopping the guard rail the obvious best choice, but the choice he made didn’t get him dead, so let’s call that a win.

That kid should get more than reckless driving. Also, letting a 17 yr. old drive that car is just dumb.
