I balked at the runtime at first too, but honestly? They use it as well as they could have. Surprisingly little fat to be trimmed. Give it a shot! For all the intense gore, it’s a much lighter film than the first, tonally speaking.

Beyond any technical limitations the biggest issue with Stadia was it’s business model. It appealed to basicly nobody who is actually interested in gaming which made it pretty much DOA.

I don’t think the tech was bad, it was just incredibly overpriced. No one wants to pay for the box, the subscription, and the games to have a worse experience.

If Google couldn’t get it to be adopted widely, why is anyone else going to be able to do it?  There is no widespread need for it.  The only niche it fills is for those with very high speed internet, but a lack of computing power, which isn’t a whole lot of people.

They are refunding 100% of all purchases, including hardware and games. I can’t help but think that if they’d guaranteed this up-front instead of being glib and evasive about it when potential customers were asking about it, they might have done enough business to prevent this scenario from occurring in the first…
