Perhaps it was a strange choice, but it didn't break the suspension of disbelief for me. I mean, plenty of other things (including the voice) should have - like surviving a nuclear bomb explosion - but that's why I love comic book movies, because... who cares? It's all in good fun.

Meh.

Good point. And I love Kevin Conroy as Batman. It's a shame he won't be voicing him in Batman: Arkham Origins. Oh, well. Ezio is an okay second, I guess.

Hmm. True.

Huh. I guess it didn't strike me that way. His Batman growl voice does get a lot of hate here on the interwebs, so I guess there's something to it. Everyone has their likes and dislikes, especially when it comes to revered characters such as Batman. For example, I am a huge Star Trek fan and I absolutely cannot stand

Yeah, it did become "growlier" (if that's even a word) as the movies progressed. It didn't bother me, though, I guess.

I never understood why people hated Christian Bale's Batman voice so much. I just always assumed it was for the reasons that Christopher Nolan explains in the clip. It's part of the disguise.

Hahaha. We think along the same lines. I posted the exact same pic and suggestion.

Worf. Captain Worf.

I will say that GTA V is pretty awesome so far... but, I'd have to agree with you. Persona 5 is at the top of my most wanted list.

To each their own.

Can we just count the entire movie as a collection of throwaway scenes?

Morn rules. What a sexy, talkative, lovable bastard.

Yeah, they're nice little breaks between the more serious and sometimes depressing/sad episodes. And it works really well with that cast, too.

Yeah, I've heard BSG is really good. Perhaps someday I'll return to it. For now though, I've got to complete DS9, then Voyager, then Enterprise, then all the way back to TOS (which my wife doesn't want to watch, thus why it's next to last) then TAS and then all the original movies.

I agree with you. While I do like some of the "darker" aspects of Star Trek, I also like the hope and the wonder. Even DS9 didn't lose that entirely. The characters still had a desire to explore, to do good, to uphold their values, even when faced with terrible situations and danger.

Seconded. STID was a piece of shit.

Otherwise known as Benjamin Sisko's father.

I think you stated it well. By the virtue of DS9-the-show's setting, it necessitated that kind of continuity otherwise it wouldn't have made sense. And we got some great story telling out of it.

I agree that Garak does steal the show in almost every episode he's in. He's a great character. That's another thing about DS9 - the reoccurring characters are just as important as the main characters, sometimes more so. You couldn't say that about TNG. Besides O'Brien (who eventually moved to DS9, obviously) and
