The republicans love trying to manipulate one group of people by setting them against another group of people. Like how they got the middle class people to blame the poor for the evil things that rich people do.

I actually don’t know why they haven’t done that. Most Sanctuary cities and blue states could be financially completely self sufficient.

I think sanctuary cities should counteroffer with a refusal to pay any taxes...starting with the ones that fund this ham monster of a Congressman’s salary. Let’s see how the Trunp-loving rural areas of Georgia do when the cities start keeping funds to themselves (and I say this as someone who lives in farm country).

He served his time. Regardless of how others feel about his actions, he should be allowed to get on with whatever part of his life he can.

Hmm. I have mixed feelings. What he did was terrible but in general, I’m against criminals that have served their time continuing to be punished once they’ve been released. When you’re out, you’re out.

I’m also sad (now that I’ve finished catching up on Veep) that they didn’t find a way to have Sue around, or even cameo (other than in flashback) here and there. Sue was the goddamn BEST.

I’m still heartbroken Sue dumped him. I guess even Kent couldn’t live up to her exacting standards. They were great together and should have had beautiful robot babies together.
