If I EVER cheer for Theon I will bow to Martin as The Best Author In The Universe.

I don't think I can really judge Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad until they are complete. They are absolutely my two favorite shows (along with Regular Show, hmm! hmm!), but time will tell if they get to stand besides the likes of Six Feet Under or Band of Brothers.

Sorry, but Deadwood and Six Feet Under still win, but only because they are originals and Game of Thrones is an adaptation…although the show is becoming so much different than the books it could almost be called an original.

This has probably been said before, but I think the main Character from Pixar's Brave would have been a better choice for Ygritte that the actress that was chosen. They could have at least permed the girls hair.

Thats a pretty damn good observation for not having read the books. I was bummed that they skipped the whole burning of Winterfell scene and the Bastard of Bolton, etc. but leaving the weirwood does imply all that was left out. Way to go newbs.

I'll admit it, I was teary eyed when the Stark kids headed north with Winterfell burning in the background. Also, as the credits rolled I was gripping my armrests so hard I left indentations.

Am I the only one that let out a Vader-esque "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" when the credits rolled for this episode?  I think I'll just hibernate for a year so that I don't have to suffer waiting for season 3.
