Kill it now, kill it fast and make room for an affordable sports car.

Why do people think that every old Japanese car is worth 10k these days? CP!

No. Hell no.

You need to get out more.

Renault Fuego - they really did like catching on fire.

Fiat 850 - that would have been my choice.

You're a Pom. 'Nuff said. ;-)

This!

I'm nostalgic for it. But it is far too expensive, agreed.

I had a sedan like that - white, blue velour interior. Sold it when the engine went. And it was a terrific little car, I loved it to bits. But 19.5k? No way, sorry. A very reluctant CP.

I think you missed the point here. Completely.

My father had an Audi 200 (or 5000 as they were called in the US I think). The engine rubber mounts were quite soft and you could feel the engine wobble in sharp turns. Which was "interesting". Otherwise it was a lovely thing, though.

Damn, you beat me to it!

The original Mini Cooper didn't even have a hatch - bleh.

Oh it would have to be the Autonova Fam...

Selling the 323 as a Ford Laser in Australia was done so that the Ford dealers would have a small car to sell. The European Escort was too expensive and the American Escort didn't come in RHD. So they re-badged the Mazda. Later they sold Kia models under the Ford Festiva name.

I want it - now. It's on the other side of the planet. Bummer.

"The theory describes "Type A" individuals as ambitious, rigidly organized, highly status-conscious, sensitive, impatient, take on more than they can handle,"

Nope - the good bits are German - the rest is from, well, wherever...

My father had an Audi 200 - it rocked. My GF has an LPG powered Ford Falcon (Aus style) - it sucks. Great car, if it wasn't on LPG - but the gas is a deal breaker. On the Audi, not the GF.
