For reals. All of the driving handbooks should change mentions of left lanes to “passing lanes” to try to get this idea out there a little more effectively.

This. Absolutely needs to be shown in every driver’s ed class, etc. Every day, start of class. Drill that sh)t into their heads so they don’t forget.

In the US, where most drivers are less cooperative than your average kindergartener, I’m pretty sure your wife is right and it would cause a road rage incident. Unless the driver was in a Buick, Camry, or Prius, then they would probably just panic and slam on the brakes.

Where I come from (Kentuckiana) flashing your lights seems to be equivalent to the double bird. Almost everyone I know gets immediately angry when another motorist flashes them no matter what the intent is. Doing it from behind would put you at a pretty fair risk of getting brake-checked.

Well I’m glad it went Viral, but it’s still not quite right. Technically every state now has an anti-left-lane-hog law, although they all vary in how they are worded.
Which is the problem here...you shouldn’t move right when there are people behind you, you should move right when you are not passing traffic...it’s that

They’ll definitely let you know in Germany. Flashing lights when they’re further back, then once they’re on you they turn on their left blinker to let you know they can’t go left so you need to go right. Love driving over there.

I disagree - what cars do scooters take off the roads? Most people in SF on a scooter would NOT be in a car. They would walk, use a bike or take public transit. They almost certainly would not be driving their personal car. If they were in an app-taxi like Uber,it would not take that car off the road, the app-taxi

Neutral: Is The UAW Good Or Bad?

I am proud of you and your search. I miss the days of unobtrusive night driving. Headlights have become dangerously bright, interior lighting is too invasive. Your eyes really can’t adjust to night driving like they used to anymore. I would be interested in seeing some nighttime accident stats to see if accidents at

The words “shooting brake” have been extremely overused on this site. You’ll never hear/read those words anywhere else. Might as well start calling the CTS-V wagon a shooting brake. The Volvo V70R isn’t a wagon, it’s a shooting brake. Did you ever see those Mazda 6 shooting brakes? They looked sick! How about those

“Every in-car infotainmnet system” is the phone in my hand. With a magnetic dash mount, it doesn’t matter which of my cars I’m driving. The UI is exactly the same, and always up to date. Since I have the phone regardless, the cost is free.

plus tax write-offs. restoring a designated historic building comes with those.

I think the main thing people here don’t seem to get is that Trump is trying to go into talks and meetings from a position of power. The world needs the US market and he knows it. Would he prefer those cars made in Canada to be made in the US? You bet. And honestly, he should try. I’d prefer to have those jobs in the

I’m no trump supporter, but the auto tariffs are a good idea. Of course the “American” auto companies are opposed, they shipped all the jobs to Mexico and Canada. Let the foreign companies build factories here to avoid the tariff like many already have. This is a very good move for the economy.
