God this so much. i keep seeing people on 72 month loans and my immediate thought is, while it’s great you got the sale you do realize these idiots are now tied up in the car in all likelihood for 6 years now. I mean it’s good for me i tend to buy off cycle so hopefully prices dip again.

This. my realistic plan is to wait 2-3 years for a car. but I’ve noticed the tour x is starting to have a fire sale near me. I’ve seen 2018's marked down to 26k which has my attention. If they can get the ones with heated seats that low i’ll actually go test drive. In general though I just paid off my car a year ago.

90 million for a freaking minor league team!? Christ MLS stadiums are 200 million and at least have the chance to host a national team or olympic games. what a joke.

This 1000%. I have literally nothing else to add because you’ve summed it up perfectly!

Plus all she had to do was shut her yap, but no she couldn’t so she kept talking and was rightly punished for it. She’s a bully and i’m glad she finally got what came to her. It isn’t the first time she’s done that BS and really the only people i’ve seen in her corner are people who don’t follow the sport.

It’s true. I have a few sensible packer fan friends. They’re enjoying the ride but they said this is basically the final stop before the team becomes a perennial dumpster fire in the post favre/rodgers era. It’s going to be interesting given that there’s an entire generation that hasn’t experienced what the 70's and

I think even Kaep can see the dumpster fire of a coach that is McDermott and say, no thanks. I’d say Peterman’s qb skills are a 2/10 but McDermott’s coaching ability is 0/10

I know everyone wants to rag on Peterman for being awful at football, and don’t get me wrong, he is AWFUL. But we should really be focused on how horrible McDermott is at coaching. How far up your own arse do you have to have your head to miss this dumpster-fire and go on pretending that you have “coaching” to do. If

I really do not understand ford’s end game. They offer mediocre cars with transmissions that explode before 10k miles and then act surprised their car sales are low and then cancel them altogether. And then, AND THEN i’m supposed to believe a company, too incompetent to even figure out how to create a transmission, is

They should have just made a wagon, then they wouldn’t have to have a sedan but could at least sell a car.

Look no one needs AWD but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth investing in. You don’t need a refrigerator, or a washing machine, yet most people have one because it’s easier. Why would i drive FWD with winter tires when I can have AWD with winter tires in a state where we get blizzards in April? EXACTLY!

This. Anyone who can afford their car wont’ be underwater and won’t need it.

Leasing only works if you can drive basically zero miles per year, does it make sense, for some people. I’ve yet to see a 3 year 75,000 mile lease though.

it doesn’t matter if health insurance has issues, at the end of the day all insurance works the same. Everyone pools money, the company pulls profit, a small amount collected is re-paid towards a lucky few. It is literally built to take money, not pay money, so no matter what kind of insurance you’re talking about,

If you kept the money you don’t need GAP insurance because your “money kept” as you call it is your own insurance. Every insurance type (with the exception of ASO Health plans) is a risk management item. They bring in more money than they spend. So will some people benefit, sure, but most wont’ so it’s a waste of

Gap insurance is a purchased item to cover the difference on insurance payout when you total your 3 day old car and what you owe. It’s insurance on your insurance. I work in the healthcare industry and all insurance (with the exception of ASO health plans) works the same in that they manage risk. They take in MORE

The fusion had me persuaded to give ford a chance again, but they won’t update it and my fiancee’s focus is already having its transmission go to crap and there’s not even 10k miles on it. I’m back out on ford. My HS car (contour) was a pile of hot garbage. Fiancee’s focus is hot garbage. Pulling out of cars is hot

GAP insurance is for suckers who can’t afford their car in the first place.

Large picture it makes more sense. If you need to sell a corolla in 3 countries but all 3 want different styles, hatch, wagon, sedan, does it make sense to A) build said car completely in 3 countries or B) make 3/4ths of the car in each country and import said part from the most cost effective manufacturing location

But it is there. They’re selling the corolla wagon overseas yes? If anything it simplifies the globalization effort on vehicles. If they know a sedan sells more in one area, vs wagon, vs hatch in others, designing the key piece as a swappable part is what makes the most sense from an engineering perspective. And the
