This has been my wonder. My lancer is 3700-7500 depending on driving condition, but because it’s cold here and i’m sometimes in traffic i’m told 3700 (i usually push it to 4000). But on synthetic shouldn’t i really be pushing 5000 miles no problem?

I don’t see the issue with 60 hours. It’s not actually excessive. That’s a 10 hour day 6 days a week. not out of the realm or normal. Honestly not any worse than someone working 12 hours 6 days a week and then deciding to drive, which happens quite a bit.

Of they’ll just hop onto lyft. Like 90% of Lyft vehicles i’ve been in have both Uber and Lyft stickers on their windows anyway.

The US average is like 60 hours a week. Who gives a flying eff!

I think the MEH factor is more to do with the ones people can afford versus how many are coming out. Chevy Bolts are $37k starting putting them effectively in competition with a fairly decent volvo. Which do you think i’d rather sit in traffic in?

You don’t even have to bring in the gas savings you can just highlight the cost of a car. Hard for me to be excited about an EV when the nice ones are $60k and the ones in the $25k range look like poop. It’s like Hmmm do i want a V60 Wagon or a nissan leaf, what a tough choice ... NOT!
