This is what I was thinking. TOS is technically a legally binding document if I’m not mistaken. Just like a EULA with software. You do something they don’t want you to do with a piece of software and they can legally snatch the license from you. State law DOES take precedence over federal law but I don’t think it can

Am I the only one who thinks Uber should implement a consent of recording in their terms before you can even get in a car driving for them? I think it’s reasonable to take some measures to protect drivers from bullshit like this. All the Uber drivers I know run cameras inside of their cars anytime they’re driving

Scratch cost. Didn’t realize that they already had pricing on their website. The FXS is actually pretty cheap all things considered. Around 11k for the 6.5 kWh model minus any rebates for being an electric bike. It could easily be had for 1000 or more less. So really it comes down to usability and range for me. If the

Big questions for me would be cost, range and usability as a commuter vehicle. It almost never rains and is rarely cold where I live so an electric motorcycle seems like a prime suspect for a good cheap commuter. Even if cost of entry is relatively high, the amount of money that it could save me over driving 20-30

I think a lot of it has to do with it being a visually appealing shape. Wide and low with a cabin set further back than what people are used to. It makes the car look exotic to the layman. They see a lengthened hood and assume a bigger engine and the general shape evokes thoughts of luxury cars because, generally

I’m with person 2. Trucks are made to be worked, work that fucker. My canyon had more than a few dings when I got rid of it.

I actually know someone with at least 1 of each year model mustang. My uncle used to have the lowest power and highest power versions of every year of corvette but he sold them all after his dad died. Couldn’t bear to look at them anymore.

AND a LWB 250 California in all of its glory. The two of them. Side by side. In my garage/living room/bedroom.

I need to edit my list to include a singer.

I’d own a LWB 250 California and a 2000GT. Everything after that doesn’t matter.

You should come visit southwest Mississippi. I shit you not there is a stanced chevy 2500 HD with 26" rims and stretched tires here. Then at the other end of the spectrum there’s a guy that drives a bronco around with about a 3 foot lift and something like 48" mud tires. He literally had a step ladder for his

I won’t buy this truck because it is not the truck I need. The truck I need is one the size and form factor of an old S10 or the first gen canyon/Colorado. I need a low bed that’s easy to load things into and out of with adequate power for towing. I also don’t want to have to own a step ladder to get into the truck

I will say, if you’ve never heard Mad Mike’s more or less open header 4 rotor miata at idle and redline it’s pretty much one of the most glorious sounding engines on the planet. The brap brap signature exhaust note everyone talks about and few hear is DEFINITELY present in that one at idle. it’s not nearly as

I love all of those things as well. I want a Datsun 510 a BMW 2002 and a Mazda RX-3 or a miata with a 2 rotor and some flavor of bike and if pretty well be in gearhead heaven.

To all bitching about the sub being in the footwell. Its the passenger footwell. The only passenger you need I’m an NSX is some sweet tunes while you’re plowing down a canyon road at max pucker hoping you don’t fuck up and obliterate the car.

I just can’t help but still like the RX-3 more. I adore basically anything with a rotary though so it’s mostly a moot point.

I adore the sound of rotaries. Always have. But I have fond memories of my grandpa hauling ass down curvy back roads with me in the passenger seat of a gen 2 RX-7 as a child. I believe to this day that that car is what started my adoration of relatively low power canyon carvers. Everyone else can keep their Hellcats

Reliability is every bit as much a part of endurance racing as outright speed and handling. Im one of the biggest rotary fanatics out there but I have no delusions about their power. Or the volume of oil that they burn. Or their fuel consumption. Luckily all of that goes out the window when that sound hits my ears.

I think the ideal thing to do would be have regions or something of the sort within each state. Each region has a dealership where the physical location acts as a sort of warehouse and place for people who want to stick to buying cars in person. Set up a website that shows your local regions stock or what they can

Glad I’m not the only one who saw a lot of Durango in that boxy front end.
