I was wondering why I'd felt so much happier than I did for a while. Then I realized this is the first thing I'd read about Trump in at least 3 days. It was fun while it lasted.

Ben Wyatt Trek Fiction where are you?
From what I remember of this season, Kareem Abdul-Jabaar had the most chemistry with Rachel and should have nudged his way into being a contestant, despite the old age and multiple infidelities.
Nobody is that stupid, and the list actually made sense. It turned what would have been heartwarming into just awkward.
You encapsulated why I stopped watching. HE became so over the top I just couldn't relate or care for he characters anymore outside of Max, who was already an asshole.
Meh, I love Courtney and she outcharms the hell out of anything Jennifer Aniston did for 10 years. I was surprised that in the end, Lisa Kudrow is the best actor of the six.
Topical, AND demonstrably wrong. That's multiple notches on AVC bingo.
He saw the box office returns for the Emoji Movie and realized he just wasn't in the same place as her anymore.
The Marshall/Lily arc makes the final season justified. Marshall is still very angry at Lily for all her shit, but realizes that if he leaves her then all the good times with her and his two children would have angry and bitter parents, probably separated.
The sandwich one is so funny because even when he's quiet he just looks like he has lost his goddamn mind. It's a perfect performance.
I honestly do think Rachel was the right one in that debate. Yes they were on a break. But Ross slept with Chloe not even an hour after they broke up. That looks callous at best and deliberately petty at worst.
Much like How I Met Your Mother (the best of its rip offs), the first 5 seasons are legitimately outstanding television. The "break" debate is the best soapy plot line in sitcom history, because it's relatable, sad and melodramatic. Just like young people in their 20s are. Contrast this with, say, New Girl, when the…
I mean, I don't think anyone involved will apologize, but she must have just really needed to get that opinion off her chest.
Duh
Glad This is Us is getting recognition. I think people have mixed up "not dark" with "sappy" because I'm really sick of shows involving drug dealers, angsty superheroes and copious amounts of sex/violence be considered "prestige." Shows like Ozark feel like a Rob Liefield comic come to life.
Watch "Memphis" and you'll see why it won.
Speechless is fucking awful outside of Minnie Driver. Not sure how they managed to make Cedric Yardborough annoying. Ray is one of the biggest jerks on television.
There's a difference between being against diversity hires/racial quotas (see: New Haven firefighters) and openly fighting the inclusion of non-white males and I wish assholes like the doc writers would stop conflating the two.
I've basically stopped paying attention to the Emmys after Modern Family got nominated for Best Comedy every year since it premiered.
They're posting highlights from the original show, and the first 4 seasons hold up remarkably well. Having the same team back will keep it from being stale.
