I would agree that the author has a salient point and certainly Scorcese is not above criticism. However, it is those unnecessary shots and downright boneheaded statements that ruin what could have been a thoughtful take on the tension between art and commerce.

I would agree with you on that if anything reported on their custody case and relationship came from a reliable source. With the exception of their joint comments and reporting on the actual court documents this is all just tabloid news.

The CGI was terrible. The movie would have been better if it tried to do less and just be funny.
The cast was the best thing about the movie. They are all very talented and the chemistry was there. It was conceptually flawed and then the director failed to execute.
