Jeebus, when did creating a “toxic work environment” become newsworthy? It’s just having a crappy boss. We are not talking about physical abuse or sexual harassment. If anything actionable had happened we would have heard about a lawsuit.

I wonder if this is case of misguided self censorship. The size of the original cast was played for laughs in the source material. I think that the producers were trying to avoid controversy but it backfired. This would have been a great movie for Peter Dinklage and some unknowns who would have gotten a opportunity.…

That means absolutely nothing. I don’t personally know anyone who listens to Gracie Abrams or any of the multitude of artists that litter this website but I understand they have an audience regardless.

There is also the consideration of talent being passed from generation to generation. Noboby grumbles because Seth Curry’s dad was a famous basketball player. Even though he benefited from his background just like everyone else. It’s acknowledged that he has the talent and that the talent is what transcends the norm.

He actually was considered an oscar snub for best supporting actor for the film Social Network. Say what you will about him personally but he was well regarded as an actor.

Even if he did make a negative comment about her not play live would he be wrong? I would have more respect for him if he did. Bands from his era were judged on their authenticity and part of that was playing live. 

Tubi actually has a strong movie selection if you are into movies from the late 70's early 80's and cult movies. Movies that are maybe not as well known today but are really worth watching if you are a cinephile.

I live in a small town, so I only get to go to Alamo when I am traveling out of state. There policies on talking and texting in the theater is the prime reason I go to Alamo whenever I have a choice.

On point. The song is a time capsule of the way adults used to flirt. Within the context of the song there is no rapey vibe at all. People of that time probably just thought it was a cute way to demonstrate the playfulness of dating in a more reserved society.

I get what you are saying, but if you have the money it really isn’t a big deal. The value is relative to your interest and means. It’s not any different then any expensive vacation, car, clothes, etc.
