I do not understand what they’re doing with Mirror Georgiou. They literally introduced her by having her nuke a planet and then had her eat a sapient being. She constantly reveled in her depravity and sadism. She hasn’t shown much character growth until this episode. All they’ve done is make her snarkier.

I don’t understand how any of the characters can stand Mirror Georgiou. She casually jokes about all the horrific things she’s done and she delights in her own sadism, and everyone kind of just brushes it off.

Book’s planet didn’t look like it was very populated at all. It didn’t look like they had any cities or major population centers. They made it seem like they had a small village.

No wonder Anakin and Luke both hated Tatooine. The planet really ages people. Boba Fett is like 15 years younger than Bo Katan but he looks 30 years older than her.

They also established that Bajor had issues with power generation. In the first season Bajor was so desperate, they couldn’t power hospitals and heat their homes in the winter.

How many people live on Book’s planet? Because it seemed like it was just a small town. Couldn’t they have just dropped off a couple of replicators? In fact, why didn’t they mention replicators at all? Replicators were already pretty common in the 24th century, surely by the 32nd century, replicators would be even

The magistrate obviously failed to kill Ahsoka because she used inferior HK-87 droids instead of the far superior HK-47 model.

The whole thing makes no sense. People still use dilithium for ftl travel after the burn. You’d think more people would have tried to find out about the burn at least to learn if it could happen again. Even criminals and pirates would be interested since so much of their power depend on control of dilithium.

Michael: “Did my crew and I risk our lives in the past to save all sentient life in the universe”

That’s insanely arrogant of the Federation to think that someone would destroy warp capabilities across the entire galaxy, which would have impacted thousands of warp capable civilizations just to hurt the Federation, which according to Discovery, only had 350 member planets. Heck, anyone powerful enough to blow up

Except dilithium is still a valuable commodity and having it will give the Federation immense political and economic power even if they don’t use it.

Shouldn’t Starfleet being devoting all their available resources to replicating the spore drive? It’s pretty much the most important piece of technology in the galaxy. Having a fleet of ships with the spore drive would allow them to quickly rebuild the Federation. Heck, just having a few ships with the spore drive can

But Starfleet officers aren’t supposed to be regular people. They’re highly trained professional. Getting into Starfleet Academy is like getting in an Ivy League University.

I wonder who they’re writing this show for. They have Starfleet characters who don’t know pretty basic science just so they’d have an excuse to explain things to the audience. Sure, old Trek shows had to explain stuff like nanotechnology, DNA, and simple computer concepts but that was back when people were way less

I thought this was the best episode so far. The Trill stuff worked really well. I like Adira. They’re expanding more on the lore with the Trill. They didn’t get too overly dramatic. It’s a good standalone episode.

No, he said they sent a ship because they lost long range communication. That makes no sense because you don’t need long range communication to contact earth.

Dune - delayed until 2021

I’m pretty sure you can’t get North Korea to fully open trade relations with South Korea with a 10 minute meeting.

How does earth even lose contact with Titan? They’re basically neighbors. It takes an impulse ship a couple of hours to travel between them. Even with our level of technology, we had a probe orbiting Saturn for 20 years that we kept in contact with. It would be like of Los Angeles completely lost contact with San

So the colony is on Titan, the moon of Saturn, inside our solar system? Which you can see with telescopes that you can buy on Amazon today. And it takes light 40 minutes to get to from earth. But the colony lost communication with earth for years, because they lost long range communication equipment? Even though they
