The MCU’s problems have really started to fester. People were complaining about Marvel movies having weak villains and pointless weightless CGI battles since Phase 1. And these issues keep persisting, so much so that even She-Hulk made fun of it. But then they repeat the exact same mistake in Secret Invasion.

A weird thing about “The Roast,” though, is that The Roast itself isn’t really either the point or the episode’s highlight.

Barbie’s going to streaming in less time than Flash?

It is kind of appropriate for the show. Since it's all about aliens impersonating humans and trying to infiltrate human society, sowing chaos and distrust.

I liked the first episode. The tone is definitely more like Winter Soldier. I am really hoping they stick with the spy thriller theme.

It makes sense the Mandalorians would live on a dangerous planet where they have to keep their skills sharp and overcome challenges. But it makes no sense for them to be completely unprepared for the dangers of the planet. At least put up some guard towers or radars that can detect incoming monsters

I don’t understand why Mandalore is so mysterious. I can get why the Mandalorians have superstitions about it. But it’s not like the planet’s location is a secret. Why can’t other people visit it and scavenge it for resources? Especially since beskar is so precious. Couldn’t someone just fly over and scan the planet?

But the Dune prequel is supposed to be set thousands of years before the books, so it would be more comparable to Knights of the Old Republic.

“Also... Kirk was... kinda wrong?”

If Q can see outside of time and causality, then he saw how terrible Picard season 2 was going to be, so he must have died in order to escape it.

His powers were so great that he was able to break the fourth wall and see how terrible the show was so he manipulated the writers into killing him and end his misery.

I’ve been hearing that Picard season 3 is course correcting and to quote Captain Kirk, “Don’t believe them! Don’t trust them!”

Except we didn’t need the family for that since Zod literally said that he won’t stop until he wiped out the human race and then proceeded to level an entire city in a tedious fight that lasted way too long. If anything, the overload of wanton destruction probably bored the audience to the point that they were no

It is interesting how people remember the DCEU Superman as being a lot less heroic than he was. Because the DCEU Superman did save a lot of people, but he was just written as such a distant, and somewhat grim, character.

Spectacular Spider-Man is on Disney+. So are Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, X-Men: Evolution, and Gargoyles.

The funny thing is that WB Discovery’s stock price has dropped almost 50% since it spun off from AT&T so these decisions haven’t benefited the shareholders either.

The most hilarious, and most on-brand, being the reveal that Johnson demanded the studio set up a tequila bar focused on his celebrity vanity tequila Teremana at the Black Adam premiere—even though the film itself was PG-13.

At this point, he’s just trolling the Avatar: The Last Airbender fans, right?

The more Dwayne Johnson tried to hype up the fight between Black Adam and Superman, the less interested I became. Yes, being one of the most powerful characters in the DC universe is a big part of Superman, but only talking about how hard he’s going to punch someone kind of misses the point of the character.

I’m pretty sure they’ve used that same joke when someone else left. I know for sure that Conan used that joke on his 10 year special. Mr. T came out with a 7 gold chain, Conan says he’s been on the air for 10 years and Mr. T says, “I know that, but you were only good for 7.”
