The fact that V’Ger wasn’t intentionally hostile is irrelevant. Being a threat to human life does not require intent. Natural disasters are a threat, diseases are a threat, asteroids are a threat, etc.

They better not resolve this by having a starchild appear out of nowhere and give Picard 3 color coded choices.
I’m really hoping that all the destroyer stuff is a red herring and that the alien device implants a telepathic command into the minds of people who view it, compelling them to destroy synths.
That “terrible secret” crap is getting so played out. Unless the whole thing is a lie used to justify the existence of the Zhat Vash or some kind of telepathic madness, there’s just no way it could be good.
Everything in a story is the way it is because that’s how the writer wrote it.
Picard’s behavior in this show is pretty similar to his behavior in “All Good Things, both in the past timeline and the guy timeline.
Klingons use melee weapons far less practical than swords against people with phasers.
Hugh and Elnor stayed behind to make sure the Romulans don’t just immedaitely use the trajector to get to Picard.
Soji's "father" looks suspiciously like Dr. Bashir.
I really hope that these DC Universe shows will survive even if DC Universe dies. They’ve all been great, except for Titans. Doom Patrol was amazing. Young Justice season 3 was great, despite budget cuts. Swamp Thing was great, sucks that it was canceled. Harley Quinn was great and really blew away my expectations.
They’re clearly pens Batman will use to write up citations for criminals.
The civilian places that do have style tend to have it due to history. Like Picard’s vineyard or Sisko’s restaurant. A modern Federation home kind of looks like a generic hotel.
The planet casino/club thing going on with Freecloud was very tacky. But seeing how lively and colorful it is, and how different it is compared to Starfleet and the Federation, I wonder if the Federation is culturally stagnant.
Arne Darvin being brought back happened due to a coincidence. Behr just happened to see him at a restaurant while they were writing this episode.
Did you watch the episode?
It’s interesting how much Picard’s own actions mirrors Starfleet’s. Picard giving up after failing to convince Starfleet isn’t that different than Starfleet giving up after the catastrophe on Mars.
You also have to keep in mind that the Romulans didn’t really have a very stable government. We know from TNG that the Romulans military and Tal Shiar don’t trust each other. In DS9, there’s political maneuvering and backstabbing between Romulans politicians. The in Nemesis, Shinzon killed the Romulans Senate with the…
Watch the show and find out why they exist. You’re assuming it makes no sense and their existence is a plot hole before they even tell you why it exists. Heck, we don’t even know if Laris is right. She said that the organization is a myth even in the Tal Shiar.
From the DS9 episode “The Reckoning:”
Romulans have been able to pass off as Vulcans before. In TNG’s “Data’s Day,” it was revealed that a highly respected Vulcan diplomat was actually a Romulan spy. In Enterprise, the leader of the Vulcan High Command was working for the Romulans. Although, they never said if he was a Romulan spy or a Vulcan traitor.…
