Except for the fact that my criticisms stand even if KotoR 2 doesn’t exist at all.

Then why did you even bother to respond to my post?

Except Force Awakens already established that the good guys have been failing for the last 30 years. Despite the Emperor’s death, the Republic never got its act together, a more vicious and destructive faction in the First Order rose to power, an attempt to re-establish the Jedi Order ended in disaster, no one even

It feels like The Last Jedi really wanted to challenge old Star Wars ideas and try to move the franchise forward, but they either weren’t allowed or willing to actually commit.

It feels like they wanted to go the route of KotoR 2 and turn everything upside down, question every aspect of the Star Wars universe, introduce a bunch of new ideas to conflict with the old, and just try to advance the franchise in general, but they weren’t allowed to go full KotoR 2. And that’s where it fails.

It’s very seedy, see.

Now Rupert Murdock has more money to spend on expanding Fox News.

In the end, some Alabama Republicans just couldn’t forgive Roy Moore for dating young girls who were not related to him.

I really like how even though they’re not using the X-Men or Brotherhood, they’re still introducing some pretty big comic characters. They’re doing references much better than the MCU shows because they’re actually able to pay off on some of it.

What do you expect him to drink? Water? Like out the toilet?

Except I’m not including the prequels at all. Vader was built up over the original trilogy. He was basically just an enforcer in A New Hope. The other Empire generals didn’t take him seriously and Tarkin held his leash. His importance in the Empire and in the story was elevated in Empire Strikes Back and Return of

I didn’t say that he needed multiple movies of hype.

Except I’m not suggesting that they take 5 movies to build up every villain, just the occasional major villain.

Apocalypse is one of the biggest X-Men villains. Even though there are more powerful X-Men villains, Apocalypse is probably the most well known. He’s like their Thanos or Darkseid or Galactus.

They probably should have had another movie or two to build up to Apocalypse. Same thing with Dark Phoenix.

Maybe Spider-Man has been swinging around the city randomly yelling, “with great power comes great responsibility!”

He’s more Joker than Hamill now, twisted and evil.

So what species are the red eyes?

Deliberately using the uncanny valley could be an interesting idea.
