The Lewis plot had a promising start but just ended up being an excuse to have everyone find out that Frank was alive again and to have Billy Russo (stupidly) reveal his true nature to Madani and Frank.

I don’t think that would have worked since Lewis called in to threaten people. That would have gotten Jessica involved.

I think there’s a Roxxon logo somewhere. But Roxxon is everywhere in the MCU, Iron Man, Daredevil, Agent Carter, etc.

Except the movie was a subversion of the “dark and gritty” superhero. The world starts out as a craphole with a murderous Justice League but the movie was all about the heroes learning why their EXTREME methods don’t work.

Why didn’t they have Dreamer try to change the double agent’s memories so she’d cooperate?

I don’t think Trask actually has any infiltrators since the mutants they control can’t talk and have to receive injections of drugs. They were just using the agents they had at the moment.

Only if he actually wants to do it. He seems to have lost his passion for a lot of this stuff. The last project that he actually looked excited about was Gods and Monsters.

Except the studio doesn’t get 100% of the ticket sales. They end up only getting around 50%, with the movie theaters keeping the other 50%.

WB executives will of course blame the bad box office on their decision to give Wonder Woman more screen time and delay Wonder Woman 2 so they can push up the release dates for Shazam, Black Adam, Suicide Squad 2, Joker, and fast track a Green Lantern movie.

If they didn’t want to make the movie about a world ending threat, why did they make the movie about a world ending threat? If Steppenwolf wins, earth will be turned into an alien hellscape and humanity will either be destroyed or enslaved. That’s the stakes they established.

Justice League was ... a movie. It treats the audience like children. It’s mostly inoffensive. And you’ll forget 90% of it by next week.

It doesn’t make sense for them to have the batsignal at all since this version of Batman murders people.
