If there's even a one percent chance Zack Snyder could direct The Batman, we have to take it as an absolute certainty, and we have to destroy it.

And those commercials with frogs have a clear political message about the environment and the economically suicidal attempt to preserve our wetlands from oil drilling and urban development.

If prayer worked, Trump wouldn't be president.

Trump did say that people would be winning so much they'd get tired of winning, he just didn't realize it would be a bad business model for a casino.

Perhaps one day, Frederick Douglass will become as famous as his brother Michael Douglass. And Martin Luther King Jr. will finally be recognized for his contributions to the Protestant Reformation.

At least it was peesful.

Blame Nicolas Cage, he stole the real Constitution for the treasure map printed on its back.

I like how the show is willing to make fun of itself. They had Thawne say that the Legends were idiots this episode and Rip complain about the Vandal Savage actor not being menacing last episode. It's good to see that the writers are aware of their own mistakes and willing to own up to them.

Using Bush era slogans and quotes isn't exactly new. I can't count how many times "shock and awe" and "stay the course" have been used. Although, most of the time, the characters who said that get their comeuppance at the end, they don't get portrayed as heroes while still continuing to murder people and then go on to

That's because it was paraphrasing something Dick Cheney said.

If there's a one percent chance this show is unfunny then we have to treat that as a certainty and cancel it.

If we go by his inauguration speech, then I'm guessing he'll be choosing Professor Jonathan Crane.

I'm sure George Miller will make an awesome Batman movie but I don't think WB has the patience to wait 5 or 6 years for that film.

Tell me. Do you leave?
You will.

I thought the Trump administration would be using the term "blood coming out of her whatever" instead.

There's no way that this was planned to be the series finale. The last few episodes are so rushed and there are just too many obvious signs that they were planning for at least another season.

Just because people knew there was going to be a sequel doesn't mean they knew when it was being made. According to steam spy, the first Banner Saga has 700,000 owners while the second one has 100,000 owners. Granted, steam spy isn't guaranteed to be very reliable but it seems unlikely they'd be off by 600,000.

Which is a shame since Tyranny is a good game and I think it has much better world building and writing. Although, the lower budget is very noticeable, especially at the end.

Not necessarily. Notice how half the money is coming from Fig Funds. That's from people who are investing in the game. But it could lead to problems since they don't collect all the investments when the campaign ends.

That's why Banner Saga 3 is being Kickstarted when the second game wasn't. Because they didn't do a Kickstarter for the second game, there was way less press and even people who funded the first game didn't know that they were making a sequel.
