I just started watching a cool web series about the voice over industry called VO Buzz Weekly. They have a lot of VO stars on. It's always nice to see the person behind the voice. I think this week they're going to have Tara Strong.

They can do all the redesigns they want, people still won't switch over from Facebook to it. That ship has already sailed.

As someone who has only had iPhones since the 3G game out, I completely agree. That being said, jailbreaking your iDevice and putting a custom theme helps a bit. Still, I am a bit jealous of Metro UI.

Wait, she has eyes? I didn't notice.

Jailbreaking has always voided the warranty, but once you restore and get rid of the jailbreak, there's no way of them knowing it was ever jailbroken. You can always rejailbreak it later.

I read the headline as "Man Faceplants his Cousin's feces into himself". After that, the article wasn't as gross as I imagined... so... good for me?

Lenses non-comparable. If the Canon had a truly equivalent lens, it would beat the Nikon hands down. Canon is better for video and always has been.

Like I said, give them a year, let them release a few updates and it'll become much more widely used that both Avid and FCP 7.

Well, Avid and FCP are the programs used most often, so I would say they are standards, just like Pro Tools is a standard of the audio editing industry. Any other program doesn't really fit the bill. I think as Apple continues listening to the complaints of editors over FCPX and fixes them, I think FCPX will become

Like I said, I still have FCP 7 to make up for X's shortcoming, but I use X whenever I can and Apple has addressed many complaints in the last update. I'm sure they'll address 99.9% of them within the next year. There will always be that .1% that complains about anything.

FCP and Avid are both standards. Most editors I work with use Final Cut. I have a friend who works at a production house that uses both Avid and Final Cut.

FCP is a standard, Vegas most definitely is not. The editor on staff uses FCP, so its a no brainer.

For any website work or digital video stuff, FCPX is more than capable for that. I personally use both 7 and X, depending on the project I work on. If there is any reason to use X over 7, though, I always pick X. It's much quicker and streamlined than X and is an absolute pleasure to work with.

I think this review needs to be switched with the iPhone 4S review.

The amount of iPad apps compared to iPhone apps is miniscule. Plus, they've already done it once for the iPhone 4. Doing it again would force app developers to make 5 different size apps (i.e. 3GS, 4S, iPad 2, New iPad and a 4" screen iPhone). The more they expand the sizes, the less cohesive the ecosystem becomes.

The problem isn't Apple not having the tech to make a bigger, higher resolution screen. The problem is the millions of Apps in the App store looking like shit on a bigger, higher res screen. Either that or force all developers to up their app resolution, which would take a lot of time and effort.

That's very disappointing to hear. Gizmodo should do an article on it. Maybe that would bring some attention to the issue...

OS X does not have a built in EQ as far as I know.

Thank you for this!

True! I am bootcamping Windows 8 and using it when Windows is absolutely necessary.
