That’s kind of my thought as well. Flush a moderate amount of water down the sewer, and then treat for it at the plant, where they can set up and take better care of the problem. My mom drove one of these shitboxes when I was a kid. It worked OK on snow or ice - would help you not get stuck quite so quickly. That’s about it. The rest of the car was completely MEH.
