Wait, really? So you buy a car, and then have to go to the DMV and get your registration and plates before you can go back to the dealer and drive it home? Where do you live?

Vanny McVanface?
Nothing like going to a friend’s house and eating Kraft mac and cheese instead of the 19c a box store brand stuff...
GM 8.0? I’m not familiar with that engine.
I’m sorry. I had a ‘94 with the 2.3 and a 5MT. It was 2WD as well, but had the extended cab and a camper shell on a fleetside bed. It was a great truck... 20 years ago. I’d be all over this one for $2,500, but at triple that price? That’s just whack!
This. My almost 11 year old can operate the side by side with minimal supervision. I’ve had her move my truck with close supervision. The 8 year old and 10 year old both get to operate the lawn tractor for rolling only (no deck), with supervision. 8 is a little early, but 10 is definitely in the sweet spot.
Also, could be drawing air from under the van, and out the back. It’s not like they needed to worry about aero effects at the speeds they were using them.
Maybe it’s just personal experience, but I was a member of UFCW in the late 90's. I had an after school job stocking shelves in the grocery store, and union membership was compulsory. I had to work about 4 hours every pay period to cover my $20 union dues, which was a significant chunk of my check. I might only gross…
Really glad I picked up my 2011 Silverado HD for $5 grand two years ago. I could cash it in, or I could continue to beat the piss out of it...
“Fully Loaded” I could excuse. The car may have a lot of gee-gaws and gizmos, and the dealer wants to convey that.
Agreed. I hovered over the ND button. But a running, driving, clean 31 year old convertible, including a turbo and a manual? Yep. NP!
You’ve never owned Weather Tech or similar? Totally worth it in places that have a month of Mud Season every spring.
Just a quick note Jason - National Crane is the manufacturer. They make cranes to mount on trucks like that, plus others:
“exits formerly numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are now, 2, 3, 4, 5A and 5B”
13/10, would definitely let them fix my road.
These appear to be lights mounted to a portable base for use in temporary traffic control situations, so the setup is a little different than the replacement signal heads that you see tossed in the back of a truck from time to time.
That’s the wurst.
The math checks out, plus or minus 10 years for environmental impact studies...
Two Chevy trucks.
I remember the neighbors having one when I was a kid. I thought it was an oddity then, and even more so now.
