Agreed. This is no sportscar, but it will get you wherever you want to go, and be fun on a perfect spring day.

No, what I’m saying in as good of faith as I can, is that there is likely an engineering need for that gaping maw. The largest cooling load needed in the 2011 was the Duramax, which was making 397 HP and 765# of torque. The 2021 is making 445 HP and 910# of torque. I can believe that this increase in HP and torque

That’s a 2011. I’m 6'-2" tall, and I need a stepstool to be able to check the oil. It’s looking lower in that picture because there’s about 3/4 of a cord of fresh cut ash wood in the bed. Roughly 2 tons by my napkin math.

I used to haul wood in the back of a Highlander. I waste way more gas by taking 20 trips to do the same thing the Silverado can do in one trip.

I can’t speak for all designs, but in that Silverado, the cross-sectional area of the radiator pretty much matches the enormous grille. It takes a LOT of cooling capacity to tow heavy loads in hot weather, and as a buying public, we won’t tolerate de-rated capacity, so the designers have to build in safety margin for

I’m an admitted fringe case, but I do.

I shouldn’t like it. but I do. A quick trip through a paint shop to freshen up that exterior, and then detail the hell out of it and dress up the engine bay. Boom. Ready for the car show circuit.

In WWI, the British started the war with cloth hats instead of helmets. LOTS of Tommy’s were dying of head injuries, so they designed a helmet and issued it to the field. After a few weeks, the number of head wounds at the army hospitals was through the roof. Administrators looked at the statistics and immediately

DOT would have a field day. There are a minimum number of marker lights required for safety, which is great. If you add more lights, that is great. If any of those lights burn out or otherwise fail to light... DOT violation. Even if you meet the minimum requirements.

That’s not a modification, though. That truck is factory-appearing except for the whitewall tires and tonneau cover.

Say it again for those in the back.

At least now, the static friction is severely reduced. Also, from my understanding, the floating of the stern happened at low tide, so hopefully as the tides rise again today, things will head in the right direction.

I gave you a star, but then realized that took you to 70, and that couldn’t stand. I revoked it only to keep you at the most appropriate number of 69, but consider this a star indeed.

It’s not all Americans. Some people have decided it’s ‘woke’ and ‘trendy’ to not be patriotic anymore. Others have devolved to the point of blind patriotism that takes the form of hate or bigotry. Those that have fallen to either extreme are so closed-minded that they have become unapproachable.

Order of preference:

This is the best take.

I was kind of on the fence with this one. When I was learning to drive, my mom had one of these, and it was actually not bad for a 90's Chrysler product. I think it would be a shame to turn it into a driver, but I have a feeling that is its fate. It’s a little steep for my own tastes, but I think for the right buyer,

That’s about where I’m at. I’m not even mad at the 300 I-6, but for $7k, it should at least have 4x4.

There’s an old township gravel road near me that was one of those ‘shortcuts’ that saves you maybe 30 seconds travel time on a good day. It never had a name till the whole 911 address thing happened, at which time they named it...

This can’t me a real Marshall. Shoot, I can buy a real Marshall CODE 25 amplifier for my guitar for this price, and make my own music.
