it is one of the most blackhearted and cynical things I’ve ever seen an entertainment company do. good grief

it’s a cool way to honor the source material that inspired it in the first place.

As was established on the show, Danny from his upbringing as a Buddhist is not overly concerned with money. He wanted his life and answers but was never after the money.

That’s because it’s actually a decent show. They just like to get the clicks around here so they talk about it like it’s the most horrible show in the world, when really it was better paced than most of the other Marvel Netflix stuff so far. Plus it had some really, really great characters.

So do you just watch everything, then, if you like to watch things you think are bad? Like, did you watch all of the most recent Adam Sandler stuff? Reality television? Soap operas?

See, I can’t fall into that trap.

Do people really do that where they watch a whole series even if they didn’t like any of it? I’d think the first few episodes would have to be good to continue watching, otherwise I’d think people would just move on to something else.

Despite (or in spite) of all of the made up controversy over Iron Fist, I didn’t struggle to watch it. Sure, there were cringy moments, but I’ve experienced similar moments with the rest of the Marvel/Netflix series as well.

I quite enjoyed Iron Fist. All the criticisms I’ve read seem to lack any understanding of martial arts and instead focused on proving some lame SJW points.
