In mace windu’s case, he jumped backwards/sideways and by the peak he faced front did the flip on the way down, that alone is not a vertical jump, one can say thats at least a backflip, or a sl ow somersault. And then you see him land slowly as if he is using the force to make sure he lands slowly..

Yes because doing a double jump equates to walking. Very cool. Nice logic! 

except they are Force users, they can jump high and flip mid air. the force and even the Most basic concept of double jump breaks physics every time. So sorry, even physics and gymnast logic doesnt apply here

Those are not double jumps, thats just them doing a flip after a high jump.

Why would the Jedi need to double jump if they can already do long jumps?
