I couldn't agree more! The show has avoided so many tropes and the fact that its weird and quirky is why some people hate it, but I think the writing is tight. I still so think there are other survivors out there, and think the show has so many directions to go into as long as they stay away from obvious BS, like

I think that would be amazing, but that made me realize they've really avoided flashbacks almost completely. They've never made any attempt to show any of the survivors before the apocalypse, and when I think of that I kind of appreciate that approach. I think that's a really common approach in TV the days, and its

Two things:
First, I love that they all, even Mike, are committed to still calling Phil 'Tandy', despite the fact there is no other Phil around anymore.
The second is that Mikes middle name is "Shelby"… match that up with the fact that the other Phil's middle name was 'Stacy' means the writers really like giving the

Yeah Fisher has been pretty great… Izzard is awesome, his stand-up is incredible, would love to see him live one of these days. Really wish the Riches was never cancelled, the cast was tremendous, but then if it wasn't Fisher wouldn't have gotten the Mickey part.

I agree with you about Frank being irreedeemable, though I honestly hoped I was wrong (in truth, his children are supposed to represent his redemption)… that being said I do hate the fact that hes going to die very soon anyway… the liquor will cause his body to reject the new organ and that's it, stupid to have to

I honestly thought Niki's turn was great, Mickey lived a lie and she hated that, I think she appreciated his bravery in coming out, especially considering that he knew how his father would react and especially since she was in the closet herself…

I kind of disagree, guys like Beto deep undercover have to do terrible things to make sure they stay trusted (short of murder)… I think its still possible that was the angle, but even if Beto wasn't undercover I still think Jimmy only made it off of that boat alive because of the sudden intervention of the law…

If that was intentional I found it to be an odd choice…

Well at least hes grabbing a paycheck, I doubt his pay is huge on Shameless and hes a terrific actor.

LOL I thought I was the only one who noticed that…terribly edited, someone fucked up.

Only Chicago people know… like in the movies when people drive from O'Hare to Chicago but they mysteriously show them arriving to downtown driving south down Lakeshore from the Gold coast…. like, WTF happened to 90?

I thought Frank would see the sun rise, take one last drink and toss the rest. Near death doesn't scare apparently.

Its good though, too many times when a character grows its like this there some magical overnight change… Mickey is still a hard, tough SOB, being gay doesn't change that, but hes just free to say how he feels about Ian now… theirs have been some of the most poignant scenes this year.

I called it last season… I think Beto, Jimmy's babysitter, was undercover, and they were trying to build a case against Estefana's father… I think just before Jimmy was killed they finally raided the boat and arrested him… Beto tossed Jimmy's phone because he knew Jimmy would be pulled in to testify and would have to

Noel Fisher is and has been an absolutely tremendous actor… he was incredible on The Riches and is groundbreaking as Mickey…
