Just a slob, like one of us
God did exist, he died, he was very small. Mystery solved!
He is not saying “God” is 5'3" and 300lbs, he is exclaiming “Well GOD!” and then saying, “If you (a person, not God) are 5'3"........” and so on. Not saying this guy is a wordsmith deserving of a Grammy, just explaining what he is trying to mean in his lyrics.
Aldean: Try that in a Small Town
To say nothing of the flute.
Still can’t hold a candle to Johnny Paycheck who gave us the anthem for all those horrible bosses, “Take this Job and Shove It”. Ol’ Johnny even once shot a man for offering him deer and turtle soup.
Zachary Levi is the Chris Pratt of the Ryan Reynolds.
Absolutely. It was fine. If this was just published for the sake of clowning on Zachary Levi, I’d get it, but this blog also attacked Rachel Zegler for her comments. It’s as if a bus with Fury of the Gods plastered on the side ran over the AV Club’s dog or something.
I’m glad to see the AV Club went ahead and got it’s weekly mandatory “We hate Zachary Levi, an Actor No One Else Really Thinks About or Reports On” post out the way on Monday so the rest of the week is clear.
Don’t tell me someone fucks it! ‘Cause that would be crazy!
I mean, I certainly get that, but the structure is almost identical to both Dazed and Confused and Superbad (and Booksmart, if I recall? I only saw that once and only have a vague recollection...)
Normally, I sort of sneer at how heavily these lists are tilted towards more modern movies (these kids today...), but I genuinely can’t think of a single high school movie made before the 1970s. Maybe Rebel Without a Cause, but if I remember correctly, very little of the film actually takes place in a high school…
How in the ever-loving fuck can you have a list of the best high school movies ever made and not have American Graffiti???
what exactly is Ms. Bure’s role at this GAC network? Is she a shareholder? An executive?
I will never respect people who use the word “Natch”
I realize this is an old article you just updated, but Battlestar Galactica left Peacock last month.
