—Nice to see Elaine Miles, Rutina Wesley and Graham Greene. The show is really doing good job in the casting.

He played the character that explained that the “mystery and magic” of the force was just microscopic organisms...

It’s not the volume of material doing this, but I begrudgingly think he...sort of has a point. The original Star Wars movies really nailed a tone of mysticism and magic, with lots of rich but mostly unexplained world-building. The setting felt huge and alien and immersive, and that was compelling.

I read what he said and my first thought was “this motherfucker was in the movie that introduced midichlorians”.

No, its because he was looking forward to fighting Sith Lord Jar Jar and that was written out of the PM script!

The Phantom Menace did way more to take away the mystery and the magic than any Disney+ Star Wars show.

And I’m fond’a Fonda.

Wow, Johnny Knoxville quotes Oscar Wilde? I wouldn’t have guessed that one.

Lets just stick with the TV shows for a while, no? Theres still the whole, “What the hell do we do with the train wreck(story wise) of the last trilogy?”. That has to be decided before they can make new movies. Unless they are brave enough to start an entirely new saga, sans Skywalkers.

“Younger co-stars”

Same author, same day:

The writing on this site has been on a steady decline for years.  For some reason, they think snark is a replacement for good writing.

So we’re supposed to forget a story that may be fake and even if it was real just shows that Jason Sudeikis is a human being with human emotions?

So just to be clear: we're supposed to hate Jason Sudeikis because of a report from a former nanny that both he and Olivia Wilde denied was true, and also because a process server did their job? Even for present-day AV Club, this is a shockingly bad take.

“Is this the way?”

I would really love this to be at least average. Night Court has been unwatchable, I could really use some new sitcoms to fit into the rotation. The last McHale show I tried was one about a National Geographic/Outdoors type magazine a number of years back that wasn’t all that great as I recall, hope this can be decent.
