They still need donations, I would assume, because that’s the foundational revenue stream for them. They just don’t need $1000 donations from thirsty people looking for attention.

To make this worse, a group of Gamers tried to make September “No Simp September”, where the entire point was donate to more deserving (read: Male lead) channels instead of Women.

The patch for this should be that any NPC with that background also has amazing skills so you have to make a moral decision about whether working with a pedophile is worth it.

I’d bet a lot of money more than one of these thugs are involved in hate groups of some kind. No question about it. They’ll be logging on tonight to receive praise for diverting voters. They are essentially traitors even if it’s not the exact definition. 

Imagine being so frightened of little children that you need tear gas to handle them. What a bunch of fucking cowards.

Every single cop in that department needs to thrown in prison. Even the ones that weren’t there. There’s no saving that department, toss them all in the brig. 

One of the things I really enjoyed about Ghost of Tsushima is how they leaned into the lush, romanticized visuals for the standard gameplay, and then added the Kurosawa filter on top of that. It created a much more memorable experience than a purely ‘realistic’ world would have provided.

It’s an interesting choice of focus, since games that deliberately go with stylized, not realism-focused art styles tend to hold up a lot better visually than games that tried to push realism to the max at the time. 

Considering how execution heavy this game can get, this is more than welcome.

What’s really cool is that later in the movie, they switch to animating Miles on 1's as he gets more comfortable and confident with his powers. It’s a subtle touch, but his movement becomes smoother as he becomes a better Spider-Man.

Noo. :( I think they got rid of that mechanic — if you’re logged out for a while, the pet gets unhealthy, but doesn’t actually die anymore. Because that was just upsetting.

The insidiousness of free to play and live service games. Even something like this just reeks of predatory behaviour. Anything that isn’t actually that meaningful but still makes you feel like you need to keep playing even if you don’t want to. Maybe it’s just an innocent little design decision to make the game feel…

I got a dog thing, and then didn’t play Warframe for a while. When I logged back in, I got a message that the dog’s DNA was unstable and it had dissolved into goo. I haven’t played Warframe since then :(

Great, thanks Drew Barrymore, for helping to reinforce everyone’s incorrect assumption that SSRIs “numb” you and actually make you unaware of reality.
