Yeah, I’m not a fan of the lying/omission, but I get it. And in terms of not wanting to date someone who was at one point married, maybe the idea is that you want to avoid people with potential legal baggage? Because otherwise, marriages end almost as easily as non-married relationships.

It definitely sounds like this dude isn’t a 21 year old spring chicken college student either, judging by the 7 years since he said I love you and whatever. This dude is probably in his early to mid thirties and he wants some unsullied princess to come along. I think he’s pretty seriously over estimating his market

Big yikes on that shit right there. Did you tip your fedora before, after, or during the time you were writing this?

Just throwing it out there, but this mentality?

I’ve personally seen the language thing happen. It’s aggravating.

I mean, you only need to look back 10-15 years to prove his point. There was no “pro-LGBT” messaging coming from Blizzard, because it wasn’t a majority popular opinion to support gay marriage or gay rights at the time.

I was watching the Jimquisition on this the other day and he made a fairly interesting point about Blizzard on this one. They argue that the matter is to keep politics out and keep the optics on the game itself. But if someone were to post something that is arguably political but less controversial (and certainly not

I was in the middle of an archaeology grind, when the Hong Kong thing happened.

It really sucks how much free PR Blizzard gets regardless of what they’ve done.

They made a decision and fans who had unspecific attachment got upset.

As a teacher, I can say the worst part of GTA is the effect it has on teenagers’ language. No, they probably won’t turn violent, but yes, they will adopt overly aggressive, disrespectful dialect that will push them into more adult situations. This is especially true for video games, as the ability to walk in the shoes

Moreover these small side projects are one of the main reasons why Game Freak is popular with some developers. I remember an interview with an employee of Game Freak who talked about how they explicitly wanted to work at Game Freak because they let you put together small passion projects exactly like these. IIRC it’s

“On the tail end of a controversy surrounding its publisher, Blizzard.“

Routing power to forward barrier, indeed.

I’m pretty sure they very intentionally noticed exactly that.

I’m sure it’s just because of a scheduling conflict. Nothing to see here. No siree. Nothing at all.

It’s worse than that though.

Oh no, cleavage. Might as well ban all of twitch :/

They cater to the 4chan/Reddit crowd.  This is working as designed.

Companies like Twitch love to bend over to troll armies, huh? Limited staff or not, they are quite good at expressing their hypocrisy and/or incompetence.
