I liked the weapon durability, but I think a happy middle ground would have been to have the Champion weapons behave like the Master Sword in that they would have to recharge instead of completely break. That way you’re still hot swapping between different weapon types, but those weapons feel much more special. By the

If the master sword never breaks, why would you use anything else once you got it? That idea completely breaks the whole mechanical and thematic point of the system.

Counterpoint: the music in BotW is utterly fantastic, and stands next to the best music in the series.

The first time I heard the hinox theme I was giggling with delight since they went out of their way to mimic old tokusatsu music. So unexpected and different.

“Item durability is never a fun thing, it only makes people scared to break their toys, and thus not use them.”

There was a ton of music in BotW — the full score spans 5 discs — and it is probably more varied than in any other title in the series ranging from understated piano to full orchestral bombast.

Honestly, most of what I want is just quality of life/UI stuff.

Yes, EA is indeed responsible for a lot.

“This isn’t crack, your honor. They’re fun boulders, and they’re something that have been a part of life for years, whether they’re fish scales or pebbles or snowballs. It’s really a common part of life.”

This week, on: HOW TO READ LIFE IN AGGRO! (A weekly analysis of a webcomic everyone complains is difficult to read)

I think part one of what you’re glossing over with this ‘fundamentally flawed’ theory is how many people are going to see Justin Roiland’s name on this, start thinking R&M, and just make the connection and the purchase.

Are you suggesting that you can’t have an opinion on something just because it’s exactly what you expected it to be? Is a game reviewer only supposed to review a video game if it surprises him?

i believe it is what astute reader’s call......................a game review
