Sort of reminds me of that one family everyone knew growing up who would say grace, thanking the lord for this bounty we are about to eat, blah blah blah, before tucking into KFC or a sack of McDonalds cheeseburgers.

It’s funny that you mention respect- because holding a prayer for Christians shows a lack of respect for everyone else in the arena. There is nothing wrong with prayer- but a non-denominational event honoring one religion is in bad taste. I love Nascar, but #1 and #3 are bit off, my man.
