Not worth it. Pentax, go to hell. $800 without lens, pft. The K-x is $500 with lens and launched for $650 with lens. I'd rather buy an A55, T2i, or D3100. I'm probably gonna end up buying the K-x though.

@naderr: Red Wine doesn't mod iPod touches, again your post had nothing to do with the Red Wine iMod. A line-out is not a headphone out. If you plug headphones into a line-out they will get destroyed. Line-out is an un-amped signal, so it is at its maximum voltage, which is extremely high.

@cmdtacos: You can use any dock as well, just as long as you use a vcap. On the website they even said only the 4G will have a different head-jack. The 5G/5.5G will be posses a stock headphone jack.

I don't think it's the headphone jack that becomes a line-out. I believe the capacitors are removed and the line-out is used from the dock connector into a vcap and amp.
