I don’t know...the Audi R8 is too slow to be the new NSX.

I really dislike cloth.

If you need a car to get you puss, you’re doing things wrong.

Lol, I think my cousin bought his 2012 Camaro V6 with that thought in mind. Such a poseur car lol— every body-kit add-on you can imagine and a slushbox to boot.

And you’re buying a Hyundai or an ancient Nissan. No thanks.

Which is, of course, your opinion. Conversely, I wouldn’t touch either of those with a ten foot pole. The 370z platform is what, 13 years old at this point, and the Genesis was a never-ran that looked good on paper but really lacked it when it counts. The new Camaro is an all-new car based on an award-winning

Way, way too many doors.

I was pretty disappointed in the 6 when I drove it. It looks great, it handles well for a family sedan, but it is not by any means a “performance” car.

I like the new 6 a ton but they are not remotely the same category of car or experience.

A lot of people cross shopping the Mazda 6 and a Camaro?

I find it hard to believe that a Mazda 6 is equally an enthusiast car as a pony car.

Who honestly gives a flying fuck what fuel economy a 640 hp supercharged V8 sports sedan gets? Dear god, is this Consumer Reports?

Agreed. I pilot an E60 M5, which supposedly can hit 205 unrestricted. I, however, get between 9-11 MPG. Of course I treat every stoplight like it’s a top fuel competition....but there’s really no other way to drive that car.

If you can afford a nearly $100k, the extra MPG really don’t matter.

In the early 2000s, I had a V6 Accord Coupe with an automatic that averaged 21-22mpg. That car had 200hp. This has three times that, and is in roughly the same range. That's pretty damn amazing.

You think a 4300 lb luxury sedan with 600 hp that only gets 21 mpg is par for the course? I’m still amazed.

We live in a time when a 640hp 200mph Cadillac can be described as both reasonable and tame. These are amazing days.

The amazement of offering 600+ hp and 200+ mph in a 4 door with a decent factory warranty is something that’s going to take a while to wear off. 21 mpg highway is a bonus.

I love what Cadillac has become.

They’ve shown that it really is possible to shed the image of an old folks’ land yacht cruiser, and become a manufacturer for the young, stylish, and successful car buyer; and even perhaps the young, stylish, successful, speed hungry track junky car buyer.

(Buick, I’m looking at you.

That isn’t the case here. The new Mustang GT can’t even handle the old 1LE. This new Camaro didn’t have to do much to win. This coming from a person who prefers Mustangs.
