speaking of GoT, i disagree with tashas paragraph on cersei. she was one of my favourite 'love to hate' villains early on, but seeing her being so over-the-top inept in book 4 was not fun. i think i get what martin is going for - someone who thinks theyre far more intelligent than they actually are - but did he really

talking about separating the art from the artist is great in theory and all, but i just cant enjoy anything created by a blatant homophobe. i just cant. especially if not even the "product of their time" excuse applies.

i too am a bit worried about the takeda character. he was fun as some campy revenge sensei on the fringe of things, but now that hes gotten so much more important, they really need to start explaining his motivations and such. right now hes just a cypher who does whatever the plot needs him to do.

i dont watch this show "to be politically correct" or because "I love trashy and disgusting reality shows". I watch it because its simply a fantastic show. its hilarious, its smart, its touching. and i get the impression that most viewers watch it for those reasons.

i know! im excited about this fact, for reasons that are not even clear to me.

more ryan hansen is one of the really good things about S3.

i need to watch the ep again, but i dont remember the show implying that parker somehow 'deserved' the rape. more to the contrary, i remember the overall message being that parkers rape was just as terrible than any other rape. her being horny and promiscuous doesnt justify the rape in any way.

rihannas "rated R" felt like a (relatively) honest way to deal with the
incident, but on various tracks from "loud", it definitely felt like she
was milking it for money. i found it irritating, but i was willing to overlook it because, well, i think shes a great pop star and i like her music a lot.

oh dont you worry your pretty straight head: the gay is long.

witherspoon dies in the opening scene. hardy and pine hook up and spend the rest of the movie alternately having spy adventures and making sweet sweet love. yes, yes, yes im gonna watch that.

i cracked up at rupauls silent OMG! when willem taked about his fourty or so shoes.

i dont think shes sour, i think shes just reeeeally full of herself, without the goods to back it up. i love to hate her. cant wait to see her face when she gets kicked out just as shes approaching top3. cute guy, though.

eh. im bummed the princess is gone, too, because she seems sweet and personable, and has a little bit of edge style-wise. of all the contestants, id want to be friends with her the most.

i thought 'patsy as anna wintour' sounds better in theory than it playd on screen. i too was underwhelmed by this episode.

'the abduction' was the first episode of alias i ever saw. i was HOOKED. like instantly. and as much mythology the show has built so far, i remember not feeling lost at all. thats what i call skilled storytelling.

i have always been curiously fond of the underworld movies, despite everything. but no speedman? i think im gonna skip this.

yes! yes yes yes!

this challenge would have been way more appropriate for rupauls drag race. because that show is actually supposed to be a parody.

this review cracked me the hell up!
hysterical! good job.

carnivale! pretention has never looked this good!
