yeah, pings dress was clearly the worst, but she is at least interesting and unique. im curious to see what she is going to do next. plus, she has "personality". lets not kid ourselves, its nice to see designers do creative things, but drama, meltdowns and bitchy backstabbing are just as important on PR.

"modles of the runway" is crap, but i think involving the models in some challenges can be fun. remember the wedding dress drama of season one, or when the models went shopping for fabrics in season 5? those were good episodes!

Cyndi Lauper
nooooooo! i dont want to see her like that. i want to unlearn this information and go back to thinking shes aging gracefully.

existenz, avalon… both kinda… suck? i mean, they have their moments, but still.

agree with lockstock. frusciante is the least inessential rhcp.

agree with mr. smith. im not sure wether dark adelle was all that consistent with protective adelle from season 1, but her handing over the super-tech to rossum really doesnt make much sense, now that she has been revieled as a good guy.

shallow comment
aside from these two eps being mind-blowing, thought provoking, touching, and all-around awesome…

i really like M.I.A.'s cover. the sigur ros one is quite nice, too - how cliche would it have been to just have a landscape or some ambient looking colours?

"Didn't Adele have a line about Boyd needing to keep the dolls in their places, or something like that? Judging by Echo's machinations and Sierra and Victor bunking together at the end, the guy has his work cut out for him."

ginnugap, bill, silly: i was thinking exactly he same thing. why wouldnt adele think of something like that - imprinting sierra with some ninja skills, having her kill nolan, then let his disappearance look unsuspicious? like back in "man on the street" with the rapist handler.
its a rather big plot hole and the only

kristen bell is a rather good voice actress. shes a lot of fun as the voice of gossip girl.

the real question
to be fair, the manga is also quite simple minded and often doesnt make too much sense.

next myof entry
just read the review of "hounddog"… would make am imteresting myof entry, wouldnt it?

in find it hard to imagine that a movie that handles a child rape scene "artfully and elliptically" and features "an impressive lead performance" by fanning doesnt "merit being seen or remembered". how can that be? its not even a real trainwreck? (maybe this should be a myof entry…)

"On the other hand, it would be a mistake to discount the liberating effect that sexually explicit material can have on those who need it, whether because they were raised in a strict religious home, or they're gay, or they don't have any friends they feel comfortable sharing dirty jokes with. Knowing that other

a dude in an ascot
i had such a crush on him!

evil lurking angel
"Part of the problem is that I was more wrapped up in the subplot. (…) I cared just as much about Angel, who lurks around the edges of the episode like a malicious presence, reminding Buffy and the audience at home that he could strike at any time. (…) With that looming, I was maybe a little too

passion! er, no, wait: fashion!
yeah the costume design in buffy the vampire slayer is pretty godawful from start to finish.

everytime
i know this is shallow and irrelevant and stuff, but i really like Stephen Dorff in britney spears video to "everytime". i like the song, too.

"nowhere as interesting or subversive as it should be"
"…where Davis buys him as a slave (…) Davis is the two-fisted, brawling, swashbuckling lead, and Modine is the dainty blonde, lightweight sidekick, the obligatory love interest, as it were."
