It's bad and you should feel bad for liking it.
I hate the phrase “hard wired”
I don’t think I would like your girlfriend. Dated? “Ooh, I can’t watch this because it looks like it takes place sometime before I was born and therefore isn’t relevant!” That’s right up there with people who won’t watch old movies because they’re in black and white.
People can debate the quality of Man of Steel (and there are some things I don’t like about it), but one thing that bothers me, is the non-stop echoing of “Superman doesn’t kill”, that seems to have spread around the Internet. It’s really unfair and not true at all.
OP specifically addressed it underperforming critically, with professional critics and audiences. How do you guys keep confusing ‘not critically well received’ with ‘horrific flop that hemorrhaged money for the studio’?
Good article. On another, albeit related note, by the time B v. S comes out, I do think the general public will have grown even more weary of Marvel’s homogenous, humor-first, story second tone (this was the big flaw of Avengers). They will want that more “gritty” superhero film, because all they’re really getting…
I work with a hearing impaired person. This is exactly what life is like for her. Yesterday she looked over at me and asked if I really wanted her to stomp on some tiny horses.
Actually makes me think of one of Yoshimitsu’s incarnations - can’t put my finger on which one, tho.
There’s a rumor out there that he’s going Giant Man in Civil War...
...but the majority of pre-modern “priceless artifacts” are artifacts of religious cultures, so if religion categorically “fucking sucks,” it looks like ISIS is doing you a favor!
Your comment was a turd. Why the post? :/
I love Latifah, but I have a hard time seeing her attaining the level of stone-cold that you’d need to properly get Waller’s character across. Mind you, I don’t have a better suggestion off the top of my head.
er, cast Queen Latifah ?
You know when I left the theater this week a woman behind me commented that she liked the movie and was glad MRA’s were mad otherwise she wouldn’t have seen it. Honestly though there really is nothing in this movie that is pro-women or anti-women and you could easily argue the case on either side, heck you can argue…
God forbid someone try something different.
Almost as if they were human beings or something. How ridiculous!
Fury Road?! Pfft. This is the anti-Fury Road. All the women are strutting decorations and unconvincing fighters.
What is it with people and marriage? Why?
