I haven’t spent much more than the first DLC (Osiris/ Mercury and Warmind) for Destiny 2 on PS4 and still running basic D2 on PC, just because I lived through D1 and recognize the same pattern.

Well, that depends on if Bungie does expansion + season pass on year 3 again.
I’m not sure about Quria, though, since it’s currently tied up with the time loop trapping the Dreaming City.
So anyone else willing to bet, like I am, that Shadowkeep is going to involve taking on Savathun?
The moon is a big ass place (3rd largest moon in the solar system). No one said we are going back to the original patrol zone.
I used to do my D1 grinds on the Moon. I just loved being up there (Venus was fun too, especially as a colorful contrast to the Moon). I loved hanging around both those worlds.
But ... the Mars from Warmind is a totally different part of Mars from D1. And the areas on Earth from D1 and D2 are absolutely night and day of each other. And look at the solar system. We’ve been to Mercury, Venus, Earth, Moon, Mars, Nessus, Titan, Io and the Reef/DC. Where else can we go?
I’m excited to go back to the moon, if that is indeed where we’re going (at the leak is legit). One of the best locations in D1.
Does this mean I we get Eris back?
Nah, the Luna was easily the most atmospheric location of the first game. Also it will be a different place so it will probably have it’s own twist.
leak week continues!
Uh no? As a gay man with many other LGBT nerd friends who love the game would tell you, it was never about Naoto identifying as a male, it was about Naoto TRYING to identifying as a male to be accepted as a detective. She thought being a male would get her more accepted considering Japan’s sexist workplace practices.…
Good question!
Of course you can in portable mode, docked would be a small problem tho. Imo docked is still no reason to not develop a new Etrian Odyssey for the Switch. I don’t know, use Motion Controls for the map, switch to the map with a button, make drawing with normal buttons a bit faster with a rectangle pattern tool maybe…
It’s a little pun that’s lost in translation. In Japanese, the Etrian Odyssey series is called Sekaiju no Meikyuu (literally, Labyrinth of the World Tree). So it takes the -kyuu and stylizes it to Q.
The Q comes from Etrian Odyssey. In Japan, it’s “Sekaijyu no Meikyuu,” with fans shortening Meikyuu (labyrinth) to “MeiQ”.
SMT Strange Journey used the Etrian engine to build an old school, automapped SMT game and it was a joy to play. Even if they move away from Etrian itself, I bet they could make one hell of a dungeon crawler with its framework.
Of course theyve been reduced down characterwise, its meant to be a game filled to the brim with jokes, theres almost nothing serious for the characters to react to.
It’s a less heavy-handed this time, IMO, but still often leans into the flanderization. The staggered way the characters have been introduced so far has mitigated it for me, too, but if you’re not a fan, it’s likely it’ll still grate on you to some extent. (There’s always fast-forward!)
Only saying this cuz im aeeing it alot here. I totally get wanting new games on the switch but ya’ll gotta realize this game series would be aggravating AF without the screen to draw on.
My most anticipated game of the year, and it’s just weeks away! The gamplay in PQ was a blast, but my favorite parts of Persona games are always the social ones...I loved watching the SEES team interact with my beloved Investigation team. And now that the Phantom Thieves are in the mix, I’m guessing PQ2 will be my…
