I've missed a couple of episodes so when I saw them together I just assumed that they had been explained previously. To learn that this was completely new just kinda strikes me as horrible writing worthy of Glee.

And furthermore, why were they all the same style of envelope? They weren't even plain white ones, which would make sense. And why sticky notes instead of Sharpies? And why didn't Jane just CHECK before she handed over one of the envelopes?

I thought Alex was maybe a bit too ditzy in her crush tonight, but she made up for it in cute.
