I like Sam & Marc a lot but Sam feels tailored to Marc specifically, maybe it would have helped had he changed his look by shaving the ‘stash and learning how to modulare his voice at all, sounding and looking identical in every role isn’t helping.

I respect your opinion but personally I don’t go for the whole “1/2 your age + 7 rule.” In my personal opinion and experience age gaps of 10+ years rarely work, maybe it’s different for Hollywood types, I don’t know.
Skip the liver and make me one, I would eat the hell out of that.
I like Maron, granted he just sort of playing “what if Marc were a washed up director” rather than a character but I like it.
You get a star just for Toby Huss and Newsradio, I still have my DVDs.
I think Bash acted dickishly but no, I saw nothing wrong with him deciding to extend the show, it’s not like he would have forced anyone to say. (Assuming he even could)
Lot of great posters during that sequence, well worth keeping an eye out for anyone doing a rewatch.
Is there any real reason for Sam to be in this show in season 4? They seem to be making him quite surplus to requirements, I don’t see how you fold him back in.
No I did not, I really only read the A.V. Club so I rely on the recaps and insightful comments like these to fill in the backstory.
Double sarcasm fail, what a wonderful thing to witness.
I only know the 50's one, I didn’t even know about the 90's version until these comments.
You are sort of blowing my mind with this, because I saw some Tiny Toons and Animaniacs but have no memory of the frog on either and I don’t live in North America so I never learned the name from WB/CW idents.
Anyone else find a few tears running down their checks at the end of the Jenny/Melrose conflict?
Just listened to an interview with Joe, assuming this does well in terms of views etc, he has more Roko Stories to tell.
I just watched it, that, was, amazing! I don’t think I have laughed that much in years.
Thanks for these recaps by the way, I know it’s a job and all but you really seem to care about the show and I really appreciate them.
I have been slightly disappointed how the actual in ring wrestling has been diminished this season, (In seasons 1&2 the actors were so good at it I found myself getting sucked into the matches,) characters like Bobby sure do fill that void.
We are pretty much the same age, I think we were sort of the last generation to be raised on Looney Tunes, people 30 and below never get my Looney Tunes references any more.
Gaytimes are a tasty treat, no doubt about it.
Are younger viewers even going get the Michigan J. Frog joke without wikipedia?
