I will always love Ferrari (the 599 GTO is nearly perfect in my eyes) but it is also emblematic of so much that I hate about wealth and car culture. On the upside, at least the Scuderia is consistent in being a place where insanely wealthy people spend money just to be disappointed like the rest of us.
Looking at the slider view in the article, it doesn’t actually look that bad (having driven that stretch daily for like 7 years, its definitely an improvement). Yes, there are a bunch of lanes to cross, but there is also decent green space; they must still be assuming a lot of traffic for events which is woeful…
TTAC started going off the rails when Bertel (who was so in the tank for Toyota at the time in particular, and the Japanese auto industry in general) carried out hit pieces on every other manufacturer for no real purpose.
The made up kind. Until I see a video of him signing a check and then a video of the dealer cashing that check and it not bouncing, everything is up in the air.
Make an affordable EV pickup with 300 in range and see what happens I guess.
Can’t do sportswashing without the sport, mmmmk?
There is a real dearth of maritime-related scary stories on here over the years, thanks for this!
“lets fucking go!”
Yea, the ancient Mesopotamian and middle eastern religions were metal AF {looks askance at the Towers of Silence }
I don’t want to alarm you but people have been writing songs about love and relationships since at least ancient Greece.
A friend of mine was body slammed by a drunk Cowboy’s fan for wearing the wrong jersey to a game and had broken ribs and a broken wrist. I’m not saying that millenial and Gen Z women don’t have it in them, I just haven’t heard any horror stories yet about having beer dumped on you for preferring Folklore Taylor to…
Easy there...the NFL is a niche sport for a specific market and the rest of the world doesn’t care about it at all...but I guarantee you that if you brought up Taylor Swift in most countries where they have access to the internet, they will know who you are talking about. And thats OK, its apples and oranges. Try not…
I know these kinds of things are how they make money but can we just get an online, backwards compatible setup for all the classics and lower-res games and leave it alone regardless of the hardware upgrades?

I think it is strange that “before he was married” is somehow a small but valid qualifier for bad behavior in the mind of the dudes who wish it was the 1950s.
So the equipment for A/V is actually pretty expensive to get right; most people will not sped real money for an assist package. There are a decent collection of folks (older, disabled, etc.) that would benefit from full A/V though, and others who should probably still have mobility in this country but might not…
There is a lot of value for people with disabilities, but its not really surprising that we center the comments on the impact to fully able individuals who would most likely never purchase it or use it that often.
There is a place and a market for A/V technology in all its various forms.
“Man, Ralphie has become a real douchebag since the Scut Farkas Affair apparently.”
‘Tis almost the season for drinking Ovaltine and writing an A+++++++++++++ theme.
“Of course, with just one episode left this season we’re not counting on all of our questions being answered.”
How about only like 2. Filoni is playing this too close to the chest for only an 8 episode series; its a good thing most of us will tune in regardless.
