I like the idea, but wouldn’t it defeat the very purpose of paying a ticket to have a physical seat ? (plus travel, etc). Wouldn’t it cut a estimable portion of ticket purchases, as most people would prefer to stay at a comfy home ?

This is very fundamental research, so real-world applications are far in the future.

That’s the inherent problem with science. It’s relying so much on calculations (therefore, equipment, funds, resources) that imagining the whole fundament is wrong would be too hard to swallow. And to imagine.

I can’t help but think there’s a problem with his fighting motion though : such inertia based, wide movements, opens the opponent to guess your counter balance quite easier. I could imagine a regular fighter taking advantage of his rare unbalances and use them as an added factor to devastating damage…
