They absolutely do. “Kinda free” solutions boomed with mobiles, when devs realized how people wouldn’t spend an upfront dime for a mobile game. These business models later inspired bigger companies, for bigger games.

Outside of complicated DRMs : abusive DLCs, Pay2win, Freemium are also the consequence of piracy. I thought everybody knew that by now ?
What if Rey dies in ep. 8 ?
This game was ... damn I don’t have words. I hope Dontnod will believe in their potential to grow even bigger in storytelling games, because for now, despite one or two “storytelling rookie” flaws, this one was mesmerizing. Promising future.
I’d just like to chime in about the “looking at the past” part. The correct phrasing would be “looking at a signature of the past”. At the very moment you’re reading this message, everything single moment in the universe is up to date. Which is why so many researchers still believe in the craziest evolutionary…

Tbh those 3 soundtracks sound very generic. 5 star Quality, but still generic.
After Witcher 3 I am more excited for Cyberpunk 2077 than I have been for any game in the last decade.
Because of good graphics, bad controls and repetitive gameplay? Yep. I totally get it. I bet you’re going to praise the story. But if the controls and gameplay aren’t done well, why don’t I just read a book? After all, a video game depends on human interaction with a machine...
What makes Witcher 3 more of a RPG than Fallout 4?
Deserved !
Mandatory soundtrack.
