On paper you could tell yourself it's boringly déjà-vu. Then you read the maker's name : CD Projekt. Then all boringly déjà-vu arguments are made invalid.
It's no wonder that audiences have been clamoring for a Mirror's Edge sequel since its release in 2008. DICE's brief detour from their best-selling Battlefield series was a slick, inventive, and gorgeous video game.
Good move from Cap to reveal the game by making hardcore (famous) gamers test it publicly. There couldn't be more accurate candidates to show gameplay novelties. Maybe that's why I didn't see that much novelty :D (yet)
I'm mildly amused to see that those "gamers" prefer to bitch about her appearance than about how her moves are just a refactoring from other characters.

This trailer is epic, but it sums up the problem of videogame trailers. When you see it, you go all "whoaaaaa" ... and then you play the actual game. In the case of EVE, you can end up waiting for that specific part for a pretty long time.
