hahaha, that kid's voice at 1:30

To the point where I'm wondering if that wow speech direction wasn't intentional ...

This looks so ... stupid :/ From that guy YEAAAAHing like he has a 30 IQ, to those players poking themselves (yeah I call this poking, not fighting), to the full team starting to mimic the 2 starters ... Idiocracy movie was so right :/

Same for 40 € in France, with 200mbps :)

Thing is, it is since they are tagged as reference points that they became evolution marks, aka historical waypoints. That means the more we will see them as waypoints in the past, the more it will inspire us to make future ones even bigger waypoints (read : revolutions). It just serves motivational purposes.

I'd just say : don't think too much, make yourself the answers you want to have ;)

That was absolutely excellent for a fan film. The actress plays extremely well, and overall the short captures the spirit of the last game with precision.

Leo, I swear ... you NEED to go on TV man. Too much talent to keep it constrained in a blog. (even a massively popular one)

I was just aknowledging your argument, because even if the OP led to think I'm on the opposite fence, I'm not really taking any side here. I both agree with you (as a gamedev myself), and both think that 8-bit graphics feel like overused now in 2013.

I find it funny how you label people trying to vulgarize gaming PCs as « Elitists », while your nickname is « Noble » :p

Haha yes, you beat me to it :D

Fair point ;) Although, I don't really need photorealism, I really do prefer stylized textures instead. But I'm not unhappy with such a change. In the 90's, we had to imagine the extension of the world we were roaming in, I loved that too, and gamedevs even wonderfully played with that notion (secret areas, endless

I can understand the appeal, Minimalism can be quite charming in every art form :)
