The only issue with him devolving into said gibbering idiot is a lack of self-awareness. It’d be much, much sweeter if he was only losing physical control of himself, and was absolutely mentally sharp but trapped in that decaying Yertle the Turtle looking body. 

The ethically corrupt POS senator stole two Supreme Court noms from the Dems, so if he’s now turning into a gibbering idiot (even more so than the typical Donald-nazis), that’s fantastic.
