Adding to your point, I remember about 1 in 10 college professors being little god-kings who demanded adherence to their order in their classroom, and English professors were the fucking worst offenders. 

I feel like there may be a little bit more to this story than what’s being shared with us on this site, but on the surface it is definitely disturbing.

Okay, so this is a primarily POC campus with an altercation between a Black professor and two Black students. Why is this being presented as another example of racism? Maybe the professor is sick and tired of students showing up tardy for their class. And, maybe the students have done this before.
