Maybe the original owner was compensated by the museum for the missing painting when it went missing?

My parents married after 3 months and they're still together over 30 years later.

How is it a rip-off of a story (in the public domain) that they specifically acknowledge as their inspiration? The Little Mermaid was also a Hans Christian Anderson story. Many others are based on Grimm stories, etc. That's not what "ripping off" means.

I seriously dislike Gwen, especially in Season 1. Mostly, it was the cheating on her boyfriend thing(along with the memory wiping thing). With Owen. Who I do truly hate. Like, so much so that I'm still bitter that rapey Owen got two heroic deaths and Ianto got one really shitty one.

I love your defense of Sansa! I love her, and think that she is one of the (mentally) strongest people on the show(as I have not read the books and can not comment). She is basically constantly walking a tightrope in court. She has no say in what happens to her, but you can see the fire in her eyes. I just want her to

They had a PSA after the episode. The episode itself, as it stated at the beginning, was not about how Finn(/Cory) died, but about his life and his impact on the lives of others. Making it a "teachable moment" about the dangers of drugs would have been gross and exploitative.

I actually prefer the (very) slight emotional distance that lip-syncing gives. I feel it would have been far too exploitative to force them to "sing their feelings" live. They're already grieving with and for us, we don't need it any more real than it already was.

I didn't quite cry through the whole thing, but I cried through a lot of it. I actually lost it the most in the scene with Romy Rosemont; it was just devastating, to me.

Is Kinja being weird or did you delete my comment? I'm honestly not sure, but I don't see it in the thread anymore?

This "I'd also think that this was clearly an chronic issue and the parent was too damn lazy to actually keep track of their child and decided letting them wander away and retrieve them when they got a phone call was a better idea" is an asshole thing to say, as well as judgmental. So, you're being a judgmental

I love how you seem to think that the library is the same as DisneyWorld. Also that parents aren't using these as an extra precaution in busy areas, but rather using them in lieu of watching their kids.

I'm not sold on Armie Hammer as Illya, but I'm sort of giddy about Henry Cavill as Napoleon Solo.

I learned about DEFCON levels from War Games, about 15 years after it was in theaters.

It has to do with their product in that (in Chik-fil-a's case, at least), the money I would have spent on it would have gone to truly horrific anti-gay organizations. I'm not willing to knowingly send my money to those types of organizations. Chik-fil-a is not a public company. All the company profits are going to the

I'm just going to assume that "all" of those women they asked are just way too busy doing actual science work to bother with them.

I appreciate the idea(especially if the kids are even half as awful as the letter makes them out to be), but I don't really like the name-calling or insults. She could have explained this in a way that caused a lot more sympathy, but mostly I read this and think, "no need to wonder where the kid gets it from".

I love how the letter-writer rants about healthy snacking immediately after railing against fruit and vegetables.

I remember loving this show, however I can not dredge up any other memories about it except that it was awesome. I should see if I can find few episodes to watch.

I used to watch this show religiously when it first aired on Disney Afternoon. I re-watch it every once in a while because it's just so good: amazing and consistent characterization, good acting, complex and exciting stories, and so many historical and literary influences. It's just amazing that this show got made at
