I learned about DEFCON levels from War Games, about 15 years after it was in theaters.

It has to do with their product in that (in Chik-fil-a's case, at least), the money I would have spent on it would have gone to truly horrific anti-gay organizations. I'm not willing to knowingly send my money to those types of organizations. Chik-fil-a is not a public company. All the company profits are going to the…
I'm just going to assume that "all" of those women they asked are just way too busy doing actual science work to bother with them.
I appreciate the idea(especially if the kids are even half as awful as the letter makes them out to be), but I don't really like the name-calling or insults. She could have explained this in a way that caused a lot more sympathy, but mostly I read this and think, "no need to wonder where the kid gets it from".
I love how the letter-writer rants about healthy snacking immediately after railing against fruit and vegetables.
That would be amazing casting. I would be first in line for a Gina Torres WW movie! I mean, I'd definitely see a WW in general(as long as Zack Snyder is not involved), but Gina Torres will make me show up midnight, for sure!
I just barely missed Jane's run in the show, but Lilla was so amazing I didn't mind. So, so impressive. Although, such talent in kids always makes me feel like a schlump. Haha.
Having never seen Into the Woods, so I can't comment on that aspect of the casting. I can say that I saw Lilla Crawford in Annie, and she has an absolutely amazing voice and presence.
Hot Fuzz is my favorite, too. I just find it endlessly charming, for some reason.
I'm so(so, so, SO) glad Matt Bomer is not in this movie, otherwise I might be compelled to go see it.
Isn't saying "Asians" more akin to saying "Europeans"?
My exact thought was "Damn, now I have to watch the VMAs."
This is essentially what JetBlue does. Spend an extra $30(or $60? I don't remember) and get more leg room and priority seating.
Haha. I have a friend who beat it quickly, too. I know I beat some hard levels more quickly than her, so I try not to be too resentful. Still, I HATE this level so very, very much. I keep getting so close!
Probably just lucky. Most I had spent before this level was a couple of days.
I've been stuck at level 147 for almost two weeks. ;_;
Me, too! I have to actively sound it out, even in my own head.
I usually compare it to terrorism. Because that's what a hate crime is. It's an attempt silence and punish not just this single person but what they represent(to the criminal). Sometimes it works and they understand why we have hate crime laws, but not as much as I would hope.
I don't know why Cory's death is affecting me as much as it is. I wasn't a fervent fan. I had never met him. I didn't even much like his character on tv (sometimes, I loved Finn, other times he made me want to tear my hair out in frustration).
That is an awesome sign and slogan.
